Mozilla Labs: Ubiquity

Category : General, Information

Its new year and i planned to go out on a trip to North-East India (Gangtok,  Sikkim etc). For this i needed a mail the trip map to all my friends going with me, one option was to go to Google Maps and take the map from there and mail it to my friends, but as i was about to do this i found “Ubiquity“.

Ubiquity lets you map and insert maps anywhere; translate on-page; search amazon, google, wikipedia, yahoo, youtube, etc.; digg and twitter; lookup and insert yelp review; get the weather; syntax highlight any code you find; and a lot more. Ubiquity “command list” to see them all.

Now not only can i mail the map to my friends i can even do al lot more than just mailing the map to them, i can find out the current temperature, i can find stuff about touring places and mail it directly to my friends without even Googling.

Visit Ubiquity to know more about this amazing Plugin.
